- pork spareribs
- 1.8 kg

- ketchup
- 250 ml
- 1⁄4 cup
- brown sugar
- 60 ml
- 1⁄4 cup
- maple syrup
- 60 ml
- 1⁄4 cup
- cider vinegar
- 60 ml
- 1 tbsp
- Dijon mustard
- 15 ml
- 1 tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce
- 15 ml
- 1 tbsp
- chili powder
- 15 ml
Directions
Step 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the back ribs and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes, or until cooked through.
Step 2
Meanwhile, combine all the ingredients for the maple barbecue sauce. Divide the sauce in half. Set aside.
Step 3
When the ribs are cooked, transfer them to a plate using tongs.
Step 4
Preheat the barbecue to medium heat. Grill the ribs for 15 minutes. Brush both sides with half of the reserved sauce, then continue grilling until lightly charred.
Step 5
Serve the ribs with the remaining barbecue sauce.
