Directions
Step 1
Preheat barbecue to medium heat. In a bowl, mix peach slices, blueberries, 1/4 cup (60 mL) brown sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon. Pour mixture into a 10-in. (25 cm) cast-iron pan or two stacked disposable rectangular aluminum pans (about 13 × 10-in./32 × 25 cm) (Note: Fitting the disposable pans one inside the other helps with more even heating, less scorching.)
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together pecans, flour, 1/3 cup (75 mL) cup brown sugar, thyme and salt. Coarsely grate the chilled butter into the bowl. Use fingertips to rub the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle evenly over fruit mixture. Set pan on grill and cook 20 to 25 min., or until topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling. Cool slightly before serving.
